Cycle settings

Network checks repeat in a timed cycle; the length of the cycle in minutes can be set under cycle settings.  The number of tests run can be either unlimited, limited by a number of cycles, or limited by a due date.

Test  settings

Six configurable tests are available: Latency, PROFINET, Ping, Download, Upload, and a combined Download and Upload test. To set a test to be run, check the relevant checkbox, which will display additional test settings. All selected tests are run in each cycle.

Download and Upload

The download and upload tests allow configuration of the number of parallel streams and the size of sent packets. The end condition of the test can be either a set amount of time passing or the amount of data sent.

Latency

The latency checks the communication delay, again the number of parallel streams used, and the test length in seconds can be set. Additionally, either UDP or TCP packets and their respective size can be selected.

Ping

Ping tests the minimum time needed to send the smallest possible amount of data and receive a response; again, the time for the test can also be set. Additionally, the packet loss in percentages and jitter can be set to be measured.

Additional settings

Under the additional settings section, it is possible to select if the signal quality is shown, and if devices give audio confirmation on completed tests.

To save your settings press the Apply button.
