The following section describes the firewall configuration on both the machine (server) running the Docker and the 5G-IIot devices to allow for the correct function of the network tester.
Server configuration
The firewall on the server running the tester has to be configured to allow outbound connections to the following TARGET ports: 22, 6000,6001, 6002, 10000, 30000, 31000, 31001. Also, the ping (ICMP) from the server to individual 5G-IIoT devices must be allowed.
The server’s web interface runs on port 8000. If the web interface needs to be accessed
from another device, the port 8000 on the server must be configured to allow inbound
connections as well
Device configuration
The tested 5G-IIoT devices‘ firewall must be configured to allow inbound connections to the same DESTINATION ports: 22, 6000,6001, 6002, 10000, 30000, 31000, 31001. Also, incoming ping (ICMP) requests must be allowed.
